A mental health retreat for teens from Washington State

It’s common for teenagers to feel scared when leaving their homes to attend a residential program, especially when they don’t know what to expect. Fortunately, out-of-town programs such as Avery’s House, which serves teens from all over Washington State, including Spokane, can be like a mental health retreat, leading to more effective treatment.

Fresh Start & Anonymity

  • Being in an out-of-town program allows the teen to start anew without the weight of their past reputation or judgments from familiar faces. This anonymity provides a sense of freedom and encourages a clean slate for personal growth & positive change.

Immersive & Intensive

  • Away from home, they can fully immerse themselves in the program without distractions or obligations from their regular daily life. This intensive experience provides deeper introspection, self-reflection, & personal development.

Fewer Negative Influences

  • Away from their regular environment, they are physically distanced from negative influences, like friends, peer pressure, or unhealthy habits. This separation can help them break free from destructive patterns and allow them to focus on their recovery.
