Teen rehab program for managing anxiety and reducing chronic worry
While there are several teen anxiety rehab programs in Boise, Avery’s House offers a unique approach. Our program is an immersive experience, ensuring participants receive complete and comprehensive treatment for managing anxiety. Here are a few key aspects of our program:
Individual Sessions
- We customize treatment for each teen to fit their unique needs, strengths, and goals.
Recovery Coaches
- Our recovery coaches, who have overcome anxiety themselves, will assist your teen on their recovery journey.
Group Sessions
- In our group sessions, your teen can share, learn, and heal with peers facing similar struggles.
At Avery’s House, we provide online treatment for anxiety and other mental health conditions.
Signs your teen needs treatment for anxiety
Navigating an adolescent’s anxiety can be difficult for parents. Our teen anxiety counseling provides resources and strategies for achieving much-needed relief to common symptoms, including the following:
- Excessive worry: Teens with anxiety may feel overwhelmed by worry over everyday things to the point where it interferes with daily activities.
- Avoidance: Anxiety can drive youth to avoid activities they used to enjoy due to fear or nervousness.
- Sleep problems: Common signs of anxiety include difficulty falling or staying asleep or feeling tired upon waking.
- Changes in eating habits: A significant increase or decrease in appetite, which may or may not be accompanied by weight change, can be a sign of anxiety.
- Physical symptoms: Anxiety is often accompanied by headaches or stomachaches without a clear medical cause or by a general feeling of being unwell.
- Social withdrawal: Teens suffering anxiety may pull away from friends and/or family, preferring to spend time alone.
Two of our masters-level therapists
Our licensed therapists are not just skilled—they’re compassionate professionals committed to helping your teen navigate their challenges and thrive.
Teens and their families can trust the integrity and professional judgment of our therapists, who will guide them toward healthier behaviors and thought patterns.
Treatment tailored to each teen’s needs
After carefully assessing your child’s needs and goals, our clinicians will recommend either our teen residential treatment, which includes 24/7 supervision, or a more flexible day treatment program.
Residential Program
This thorough program offers round-the-clock support and supervision in a secure, homelike environment.
Day Treatment (PHP)
This program offers a smooth transition up from an outpatient or down from a residential program.
Intensive Outpatient (IOP)
This flexible choice is for teens ready to stay at home while attending 3–4 treatment sessions each week.
